About me
Hello, I am Hannah Bodell Lee, a freelance illustrator and portrait artist living in Salisbury, Wiltshire with my husband, two sons and two dogs. After completing a BA in Fine Art at Leeds University I moved to London where for three years I pursued a career as an interior designer. Upon meeting and marrying my husband and moving to the countryside I have been focusing my energies on the full time job of being a wife and mother but have not quite been able to put to bed my love of illustrating. Hence this website has been born.
I have an eye for detail and colour and am particularly drawn to nature as the inspiration for my subjects. While I work predominantly in watercolour, gouache, pencil or pen, I am open to working with most media.
In addition to the hand painted personalised gifts, I also offer the opportunity for a limited number of personal commissions. I love to work closely with people to create artworks that fit their vision as perfectly as possible, whether that be for wedding stationary or a personal project.
